First Time

I stumbled upon this today and it got me to thinking?  When was the last time I really did something for the first time? But if you really stop and think about it there are lots of things we do daily that are for the first time.  Just today for example, I learned how to test security alarms, that was a first.  Today I will go and register my 7 year old for the second grade, that is a first for me. This weekend I  laid in a hospital bed and gave a baby a breathing treatment and was scared in a way I haven't ever been. I also learned this weekend how to level ground to pour concrete for our new patio and even learned how to nail hurricane thingies to the wall.  I learned that the building inspector won't let our new addition pass code without those thingies.  :)

I think that everyday we should make it our goal to do something new for the first time but if you can't make it a goal look back and think about your day.  I bet ya you've done things all day long that are something you've never experienced. Kinda cool to think about!
